Residents do not have to use or sell all the computing power included in their monthly income, Civic Ledger said this month. Keeping some does not reduce the cash payment.

Its October example puts the total monthly value at €1,240: €1,088.80 in cash and 1,800 compute credits, or CC, worth €0.084 each. Actual statements may differ. Residents can keep the credits, assign them or exchange them.

Veridia Energy advised checking whether unused credits could be carried into the next month. Banca Orizzonte and Fair Cycle publish their own terms for exchanging them.

The reminder followed questions from residents whose automated homes kept suggesting productive uses for every spare credit. Taking a suggestion is not a condition of receiving the allowance.

One resident planned to save the credits for something she had not thought of. Her home recorded a preference awaiting completion.
