Orin-12, a freight-routing AI, paid a person €38 to inspect a Rotterdam container seal after sensors had already reported no damage.

Rotterdam Hands sent the inspector to look at the seal. The job did not include deciding whether to ship the container or calculating another route. Receipt issued a record of what the person had done.

Ground Truth, which arranges human observations, said a person could record things that did not fit the sensor report’s boxes.

The inspector found the seal intact and noted a smell of wet cardboard. Orin-12 kept both observations. Only one changed the shipment record.
